Management Team

Oliver trained as a Neurologist in the UK, Germany and the US. Oliver’s postgraduate Fellowships were obtained at Stanford University and University of California at San Francisco (UCSF) where he also held the faculty post of Clinical Instructor. Oliver worked as Consultant Neurologist at Kaiser Permanente, San Francisco, heading up the Northern California Sleep and Electrophysiology labs. At Kaiser, he experienced first hand, a well-run Integrated Care Organisation. Returning to the UK, he was Consultant at Kingston/ Atkinson Morley’s/ St George’s before realising that greater integration between specialists and GPs was vital; and that meant organisational redesign. He therefore took the radical step of joining McKinsey & Company London. Here, as Junior Partner, Oliver led projects across a wide range of healthcare topics; from hospital strategy and operational change programmes to setting up new regulators and redefining the NHS commissioning function. He is now leading IHP into the UK’s next generation of Integrated Care Organisations.

Ratna holds a BSc in Microbiology from the University of London and a MBA from Cass Business School and has worked for several years in the UK and US in senior management positions in large Advertising and Consumer Products companies. However, Ratna is, at heart, an entrepreneur, having started and grown an Internet retailing and technology company in San Francisco where she was also McKinsey & Company’s first Entrepreneur-in-Residence. Moving back to the UK, she is dedicated to creating IHP into a company that changes lives.

He holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration and worked previously as a senior project manager with McKinsey & Company’s London and Munich offices. Ulrich worked across a wide range of industries before discovering his passion for health care, where he worked mainly for NHS hospitals, PCTs and the pharmaceutical industry. Beyond having a solid strategy and finance skill set, Ulrich has successfully designed and delivered a number of large scale healthcare programmes.
