This is at the heart of what we do and practices welcome them! We extract key information from practice websites and use SUS data where available. We then analyse and discuss them with our practices every month in an open and transparent manner using a Master Dashboard which enables constructive peer-peer learning and sharing of best practices.

While managing performance empowers all with information, devolving service decisions to clinicians is also crucial which is why we leave final decision-making to peers. To facilitate ownership, we use a matrix structure of practice leads and service leads to generate maximum exposure of clinicians to lead roles. This achieves two important benefits: a maximum number of clinicians are actively involved so nobody can just stand back and observe, and, it mobilises a large team so we are able to tackle multiple workstreams at the same time.
