We create local Managed Care Organisations (MCO) that are co-owned by IHP and the GPs. This MCO contracts with the GP Consortia Commissioners to serve the healthcare needs of the MCO’s registered population to commissioner-defined outcomes.

Over £3 million in savings through efficiencies and coordination was delivered last year in 23 practices covering approx 180,000 patients. At the same time, patient care improved.

RAPS is very comprehensively validated
Physician-level reliability predicts the number of responses required to achieve a desired reliability. A reliability coefficient of 0.8 is sought for ‘high stakes’ assessments although a lower reliability may be acceptable for other purposes. RAPS delivers a reliability coefficient of 0.8 with 30 responses and 0.73 with 10 responses.
